Why side by side works on a mixed crew
When the English and Spanish are separate documents, they drift apart: one gets updated, the other doesn't, and the crew hears two different talks. Here every point sits next to its translation, so the supervisor can read the English while a bilingual lead reads the Spanish, or read both, and the sign-in sheet records one meeting.
Need a talk about this week's work?
The toolbox talk generator writes a new talk in English and Spanish for your trade, tasks and site conditions, built from the OSHA sections that match. Your crew scans a QR code, reads it in their language on their phone and signs with a finger. Free for 3 talks a month.
Questions
Are these OSHA toolbox talks?
Each talk is written from the text of the federal OSHA construction standards (29 CFR 1926) that cover its topic, and lists those sections as sources. They're free drafts to adapt to your site; a competent person on your team should review them before you present them.
Is the Spanish a word-for-word translation?
It says the same thing as the English, point for point, in the plain Spanish used on US job sites (andamio, zanja, arnés, casco). It's laid out line by line next to the English, so a supervisor who reads only one language can follow along while someone else reads the other.
Can I print the Spanish version only?
Yes. Every talk has three PDFs: Spanish, English, and both side by side. All of them end with a sign-in sheet labeled in both languages.
Can I get a talk in Spanish about our own work this week?
Yes. The toolbox talk generator writes a new talk for your trade, tasks and site conditions in English and Spanish in about a minute, and your crew can sign it on their phones. The app's screens are in English; the talks come out in both languages.
