What we keep
- Your account: your email address, your name, your company's name and trade, and when you signed in.
- Your documents: what you enter in each tool (topic, tasks, site conditions, any incident you describe), the document written from it, the project, date, presenter and reviewer.
- Sign-offs: for each person who signs a talk, their name, an optional company name, the signature they draw, the time and their network address (to stop abuse). We keep these on your behalf as part of your records.
- Visits: cookieless page counts from Vercel Analytics and PostHog, plus a few actions such as opening a PDF. Links that contain private codes are recorded without them. We don't build profiles of visitors or record sessions. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.
- Usage: counts of what accounts do (documents created, signatures collected, plan changes), tied to a random company ID, never your name or email, so we can see which tools are used.
Who processes it
- OpenAI writes the drafts. When you create a document, what you entered in that tool and the regulation excerpts we picked are sent to OpenAI's API. Under OpenAI's API terms this data isn't used to train their models. Worker names and signatures are never sent to OpenAI.
- Vercel hosts the site, and our database provider stores the data above, both in the United States.
- PostHog stores the visit and usage counts described above, in the United States.
- Resend sends our emails, such as sign-in codes.
- Creem, our reseller, handles payments for paid plans. We never see your full card details.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share your information or your crew's, and we don't add you to a mailing list without asking. We don't ask for Social Security numbers or any other ID numbers, so please don't enter them.
How long we keep it
Documents and sign-offs stay in your account until you delete them or close the account, because they are your safety records. Sign-in codes are deleted after use or expiry.
